Shoham Simchi
Traditional Silver Judaica with ornate Yemenite filigree work
Shoham Simchi is from a second generation Israeli Yemenite family that emigrated to Israel in the 1940s. Shoham’s father was a famous Jewish goldsmith in Yemen. When the family settled in Jerusalem, he opened a new workshop and continued the family tradition of fine craftsmanship.
Shoham followed in his father’s footsteps as a jeweler. He quickly established a reputation as one of Israel’s most talented craftsmen, working exclusively in fine sterling silver. Shoham Simchi is best-known for his lovingly crafted interpretations of traditional and classical Judaica. Shoham continues the ancient tradition of decorating his pieces with ornate, handcrafted Yemenite silver filigree.
