Jean Pierre Weill

Glass Painter and 3D Artist

Jean Pierre Weill opened his art studio in 1992 as a way to support his growing family, while creating beautiful works of art. He took the bold step of moving his entire studio to Israel 10 years ago. Jean Pierre is now one of Israel’s most original artists. He creates 3D paintings by arranging different parts of an image on multiple levels of glass. This technique allows each painting to be enriched by elements of light and shadow, and creates a delightful sense of movement. Jean Pierre Weill’s studio is now a family business. His daughters Davida and Safira joined the studio, bringing their own creative input, ideas and passion for art.   “As a family studio, our relationships with each other are key to the feeling and energy that go into our work. You are part of our extended studio family. As we receive positive feedback from art lovers around the globe – every bit contributes to our creative process. And our commitment to you includes everything that we promise to each other: to be responsive, stay playful, and always give our best.” Jean Pierre Weill’s glass painting and 3D art covers a range of fascinating themes. He is known for his bold use of vibrant colors, and eclectic personal styles that cover the entire spectrum from traditional Jewish culture, nature and landscapes, evocative paintings of Jerusalem, and 3D pop art.
