Beautiful Klezmer Hanukkah Menorah

This beautiful sterling silver Menorah is crafted in a small workshop in Israel. This unique Menorah designed in shape of 9 Jewish musicians, each playing a different musical instrument. The eighth klezmer are of saxophone, violin, shadow, harp, trumpet, darbuka, drum and guitar. All standing on a silver platform, except the Shamash. The platform is plain with filigree lace art all around it and four pillars used as legs. Each night, one additional candle is lit by the shamash until all eight candles are lit together on the final night of the holiday.

Shoham’s father was a famous Jewish goldsmith in Yemen. When the family settled in Jerusalem, he opened a new workshop and continued the family tradition of fine craftsmanship. Shoham followed in his father’s footsteps as a jeweler. He quickly established a reputation as one of Israel’s most talented craftsmen, working exclusively in fine sterling silver. Shoham Simchi is best-known for his lovingly crafted interpretations of traditional and classical Judaica. Shoham continues the ancient tradition of decorating his pieces with ornate, handcrafted Yemenite silver filigree.
